DINAS, Zamboanga Del Sur (Dec. 14, 2018) - PNP Personnel of Provincial Intelligence Branck, Dinas MPS, and San Miguel MPS conducted police operation on wanted person at about 10:00 AM of December 13, 2018 at Sitio Baka, Barangay Guiniculalay Dinas, Zamboanga Del Sur.

The operation was resulted to the arrest of Junel Sege Molihon, 38 years old, male, widower, fishpond caretaker and a resident of Barangay Mati, San Miguel, Zamboanga Del Sur.

The accused person was arrested by virtue of Warrant of Arrest for the crime of Robbery with Violence and/or Intimidation, under Criminal Case No. 07-041 with bail recommended of Fourty Thousan Pesos (P40, 000.00) issued on January 3, 2008; and for the crime of Murder under Criminal Case No. 13-085 with no bail recommended, issued on September 06, 2013.

All Warrant of Arrest issued by Hon Edilberto F. Absin, Presiding judge of RTC branch 29, San Miguel, Zamboanga Del Sur.

The arrested subject persons are now under the custody of Dinas MPS for proper disposition.

4 wanted persons arrested in Police Operation

DINAS, Zamboanga Del Sur (Dec. 13, 2018) - PNP Personnel of Dinas Police Station successfully arrested four wasnted persons during the conducted of police operation on wanted person at about 10:00 AM of December 12, 2018 at Purok Tres, Barangay Nian Dinas, Zamboanga Del Sur.

The operating team identified the arrested four persons as:

1. Mohalidin Uy Nian 58 year’s old, male, married and an incumbent Barangay Captain and a resident of Purok 6 Brgy. Nian Dinas.

2. Zoraida Yunos Cok, 51 years old, female, married, Filipino, farmer, and a resident of Purok 7, Barangay nian, Dinas.

3 Basit Mohammad Diwa, 47 years old, male, married, Filipino, farmer, and a resident of Purok 3, Barangay nian, Dinas

4. Noraida Yunos Cok, 48 years old, female, Filipino, farmer, single, and a resident of Purok 7, Barangay Nian, Dinas.

The four (4) accused persons were arrested by virtue of a Warrant of Arrest for the crime in violation of section 94 of R.A 8550 and section 99 of R.A 10654 docketed under Criminal Case No. 17- 174, 17-144, 17-145 17-188 issued by Hon. Ruben N. Bance, Presiding Judge, Ninth Judicial Region, Branch 29, San Miguel, Zamboanga del Sur, with bail recommended amounting to Twenty four thousand (Php24,000) pesos each.

The arrested subject persons are now under the custody of Dinas MPS for proper disposition.

R.A 10591 Violator Arrested

DINAS, Zamboanga Del Sur (Dec. 13, 2018) - Police operatives of Dinas Police Station and Zamboanga Sibugay Provincial Mobile Force Company conducted police operation on search warrant (Service of Search Warrant) at Purok Bayabas, Barangay Old Mirapao Dinas, Zamboanga Del Sur at about 2:30 AM of December 12, 2018.

The operation was resulted to the arrest of Ramon Regidor, resident of Purok Bayabas, Barangay Old Mirapao Dinas, Zamboanga del Sur.

Confiscated from his possession is One (1) unit Riffle grenade with pull trap m-76 ana-0015. The accused was arrested by virtue of Search Warrant for Violation of R.A 10591, issued on December 07, 2018 by Honorable Judge Ruben N Bance presiding judge of RTC Branch 29 of San Miguel Zamboanga Del Sur.

The arrested person is now under the custody of Dinas MPS for proper disposition.

Notorious Carnapper and Murderer Captured in Dinas, Zambo Sur

Murder suspect as Noel Dayondon LumisaY a.k.a. "Dodong",25 years old single, farmer, presently residing at Purok 3, Brgy Dongos, Dinas, Zamboanga del Sur.

DINAS, Zamboanga Del Sur (Dec. 1, 2018) - A 25-year old man who was wanted for the crime of murder and carnapping was arrested by combined operatives of 902nd Maneuver Company of RMFB-9, Regional Intelligence Division-9, Zamboanga Del Sur Provincial Intelligence Branch and Dinas MPS, Zamboanga Del Sur PPO during law enforcement operation conducted at Purok 3, Brgy Dongos, Dinas, Zamboanga Del Sur at about 9:30 P.M. of November 29, 2018.

PCSUPT Emmanuel Luis D Licup, PRO9 Regional Director identified the suspect as Noel Dayondon LumisaY a.k.a. "Dodong",25 years old single, farmer, presently residing at Purok 3, Brgy Dongos, Dinas, Zamboanga del Sur.

The accused has a Warrant Of Arrest For Murder Under Criminal Case no. 18739 and Carnapping under Criminal Case no. 18738 all issued by the judge of RTC Branch 9, Dipolog City On February 7,2014.

The arrested suspect along with certain Jason Lumigao Digan who is also impleaded the said cases/crimes are believed to have been involved in the string of carnapping incidents in the AOR;

Suspect is now temporarily detained at Dinas Municipal Police Station undergoing Booking Procedure and Tactical Interrogation prior to turn-over to Dipolog City Police Station for proper disposition. 

1 person was killed in Stabbing Incident

DINAS, Zamboanga del Sur (Nov. 18, 2018) – One person was killed in Stabbing incident transpired at Purok San Flower, Poblacion, Dinas, Zamboanga Del Sur at about 10:45 PM of November 17, 2018.

Initial investigation disclosed that the victim identified as Elmer Dapiton Pasgala, 35 years old, Married, laborer by occupation and a resident of Purok San Flower,Poblacion Dinas, Zamboanga del Sur, he was stabbed once by suspect identified as Jason Peratir Dorimon, 24 years old, male, single, laborer by occupation and a resident also of above mentioned place.

Further investigation revealed that the suspect as well as the victim having a drinking spree session at Luz Lagamon Videoke bar, when the drinking session done, the suspect and victim went home together at their respective house and when Jason Dorimon (suspect) arrived at his house, gone wild that caused their neighbors to panic and disturbed thereat.

Elmer Pasgala (victim) approached and caution the suspect, but the suspect got mad and get a sharp knife and without sufficient reason he stabbed the victim once and the victim able to retaliate by using a knife and stabbed the suspect once also.

After the incident the victim and suspect sustained stabbed wound at their stomach and they rushed to Chavez Medical Clinic for immediate medical treatment but the victim declared dead on arrival according to attending physician, subsequently the suspect transfer to Zamboanga del Sur Medical Center for further medical attention. Motive of the incident was personal grudge.

Notorious Criminal Gang Member, Murder Suspect Arrested in Police Operation

DINAS, Zamboanga del Sur (Oct 4, 2018) – The PNP elements of Provincial Intelligence Branch of Zamboanga Del Sur PPO and Dinas Municipal Police Station arrested the notorious wanted person during the conduct of joint manhunt operation against wanted person at Purok 3, Brgy. East Migpulao, Dinas, Zamboanga Del Sur at about 2:30pm of October 3, 2018, police official said

Police Regional Office 9 PIO Chief PCINSP Helen L. Galvez identified the arrested wanted person as Ismael Usop Donde aka “Tiag Donde” 40 years old, male, married, fisherman and a resident of above mentioned place.

Galvez disclose that the accused was arrested by virtue of Warrant of Arrest for the crime of Murder and Frustrated Murder docketed under Criminal Case # 12-086 issued by Hon. Judge Edilberto G. Absin, Presiding Judge, RTC Branch 29, Pagadian City with no bail recommended.

Galvez said that the subject wanted person, was also a Criminal Gang member under notorious Anwar Ansang Group and High Value Target level 1 on illegal drugs, now detained at Dinas MPS custodial facility for proper disposition.

1 person killed in hacking incident

DINAS, Zamboanga del Sur (Sept. 9, 2018) – One person was hacked to death by his owned father in Barangay Legarda 2, Dinas municipality of this province Wednesday Sept. 5 at 7:30pm wherein the victim was identified as Victorino Donyog umbayan, 57 years old, separated, laborer by occupation and a resident of the said palce.

The suspect identified as Adilo Angas Lumbayan(Father of the victim) 79 years old, married, male, a resident of same place.

Investigation disclosed that before the occurrence of the incident, the victim having heated arguments while in drinking session inside their house together with the suspect.

Thereafter a conversation, suddenly the suspect hacked his son using bolo and sustained hacked wounds in the different parts of his body that resulted to untimely death of the victim.

                        

Notorious Member of Gun for Hire Criminal Gang, Arrested in Law Enforcement

DINAS, Zamboanga del Sur (Sept. 8, 2018) – The PNP elements of Regional Intelligence Division 9-Task Force Tugis, 902nd Maneuvering Company of RMFB9 and Dinas MPS conducted a joint Manhunt Operation “Charlie” at Purok Baltagi, Barangay Nian, Dinas, Zamboanga Del Sur at about 2:00 AM of September 7, 2018.

The operation was resulted to the successful arrest of the suspect identified as Diamaludin Hasim Panandigan aka “Tiaw”, of legal age, unemployed and a resident of the above-mentioned place.

The operating team arrested the suspect by virtue of Warrant of Arrests docketed under Criminal Case # 13-018, 13-017, 13-08 & 13-019 for the crime of murder (four counts) and Criminal Case # 13-020 & 13-021 for the crime of attempted murder issued by Hon Judge Edilberto G Absin, RTC9, Branch 29, Pagadian City on April 13, 2013.

The arrested suspect was identified member of Anwar Ansang Group, a criminal group engage in Narcotics Trafficking, Robbery Extortion and Gun-for-Hire activities and primarily responsible in a series of ambush and/or shooting incidents to include 2nd Lt. Cartajena and several CAFGU personnel sometime in the year 2016.

The arrested person is now temporary detained at Dinas MPS for documentation and proper disposition. 

Drug Personality Arrested in Dinas, Zamboanga Del Sur

DINAS, Zamboanga del Sur (Sept. 4, 2018) – The PNP elements of Dinas MPS together with the personnel of Zamboanga Del Sur Provincial Intelligence Branch and PDEA9 arrested one person during the conduct of joint anti-illegal drugs “Buy-bust” Operation at Purok Sampaguita, Poblacion, Dinas, Zamboanga Del Sur at about 2:40 PM of August 31, 2018.

The operating team identified the arrested illegal drug personality as Norcid Unsang Fermin, 26 years old, male, married, carpenter, elementary level and a resident of Sitio Balaisan, East Migpulao, Dinas, Zamboanga Del Sur.

Recovered items from the possession of Norsid Ansang Fermin are five (5) small plastic sachet containing white crystalline substance believed to be “shabu”, one Colt Cal .45 with defaced serial number, one short magazine with seven live ammos for Cal .45 and marked money of 500 hundred peso bill with serial number E413613.

The arrested person is a member of Anwar Ansang Group, was brought to Dinas MPS for proper documentation and is now under the custody of PDEA9 for proper disposition prior filing of appropriate charges. with photo

1 killed, 1 wounded in Shooting Incident

DINAS, ZamboSur (Aug. 31, 2018) – One person was killed while 8-year old child was wounded in Shooting incident transpired at Purok Tula Tula Brgy. Tarakan, Dinas, Zamboanga Del Sur at about 9:30pm August 29, 2018.

The Victims were identified as Marjon Ticson Rondina, 26 years old, male, single, CAFGU under 5th Infantry Battalion of Phil Army and a resident of said place and Rosel Rondina Amodia, 8 years old, female, single and a resident of same place.

Initial investigation disclosed that at about 9:30pm while the victims was sleep lying at their house allegedly an unidentified suspect standing outside and with no apparent reason shot the victims several times using high powered firearms.

As a result, the victim Marjon sustained multiple gunshot wounds on the left under arm that cause his untimely death while Rosel was hit on his right foot and was brought to Regional Health Unit, Dinas, Zamboanga Del Sur for immediate medical treatment and subsequently forwarded to Margosatubig Hospital for further medication. After the incident suspects immediately fled to unknown direction.

Recovered from the crime scene were eighteen (18) empty shell of m16 rifle, six empty shell of cal. 45 and one lead of cal. 45 which are now being kept as evidence for further ballistics examination. Motive of the incident is yet to be disclosed.

1 person wounded in Shooting Incident

DINAS, Zamboanga del Sur (Aug.27, 2018) – One person was wounded in Shooting incident transpired at Purok Mangga, Brgy Sungayan, Dinas, Zamboanga Del Sur at about 3:30 AM of August 25, 2018.

Immediately, responding PNP personnel of Dinas MPS responded at the crime scene. Initial investigation conducted disclosed that at about 3:30 AM of the same date, one Ruel Ramole Montuerto, 25 years old, single and resident of Purok Mambatangan, Manolo, Bukidnon was shot by unidentified suspect wearing a mask at the balcony of the house of his girlfriend Jenelyn Gamboa at the aforementioned place.

The unidentified suspect was immediately fled to unknown direction after the incident. Per testimony of one Felix Gamboa (father of Jenelyn), while the victim was having a conversation at the balcony of the house with his girlfriend, suspect suddenly shot the victim once, hitting the right side of his stomach with the used of .45 caliber based on the recovered empty shell at the crime scene by the responding PNP personnel.  

The Victim was brought to Margosatubig Regional Hospital for immediate medical treatment. Likewise, Dinas MPS is still conducting thorough investigation to disclosed the motive and for the possible identification and arrest of the suspect.

Hacking Incident

DINAS, Zamboanga del Sur (Aug.17, 2018) - Hacking incident occurred at Purok Avocado, Barangay Kinakap, Dinas, Zamboanga Del Sur at about 8:30 PM of August 15, 2018.

The victim was identified as Rollyvie Tacloban Tagaloguin, 21 years old, Male, Single, Construction worker and a resident of Barangay Kinakap, Dinas, Zamboanga Del Sur.

He was hacked by suspect identified as certain Rabben Del Rosario, 22 years old, male, married, farmer and a resident of above-mentioned place.

Initial investigation disclosed that both victim and suspect along with two companions were having a drinking session at Marmin Pangasian sari sari store located at the above-mentioned place and after finishing the session the suspect stand up and went to his house near to the said store.

The victim and his companions also decided to leave wherein while on his way home, suspect come out carrying a bolo and with no further reason he immediately attacked the victim. He sustained hacked wound at his left forehead.

The victim run away to his house and was brought to Dinas health center by his uncle for medical treatment.

The Dinas MPS immediately conducted follow up operation resulting to the apprehension of the suspect. He was then brought to Dinas MPS and temporary detained for proper disposition. PO2 Frasad Moharibain- Investigator on case with contact number 09268817417

High Value Target Drug Suspect Arrested in Dinas, Zamboanga Del Sur

DINAS, ZazmboSur (Aug. 9, 2018) – The Combined PNP personnel of Provincial Intelligence Brach of Zamboanga Del Sur PPO, Provincial Mobile Force Company, Dinas MPS, San Miguel MPS, Margosatubig MPS and PDEA conducted manhunt operation at Barangay Tarakan, Dinas, Zamboanga Del Sur at about 4:00 AM of August 7, 2018.

The successful operation was resulted in the arrest of Bashir Alibasa y Manguda aka Kanuto Alibasa(High Value Target Level 2 and a drug surrenderee last July 2016), 61 years old, a resident of above mentioned place.

The operating troops arrested the accused by the virtue of Warrant of Arrest for Violation of Section 5, Article 2 of RA 9165 with criminal case number 16-080, dated June 20, 2008 issued by Hon. Rubern N Bance, Presiding Judge of RTC 9, Branch 29, San Miguel, Zamboanga Del Sur with no bail recommended.

The operating team Confiscated during the operation are 14 pcs of plastic sachet containing white crystalline substance believed to be shabu. During the operation, the person of Maribel Berual y Udtohan aka Dadan live-in partner of the subject person was also arrested during the operation by throwing some evidences outside their house.

The arrested subject persons are now under the custody of PDEA for proper disposition.

Man Wanted for the Crime of Murder in Dinas, Zamboanga Del Sur, Arrested in Misamis Occidental

DINAS, ZamboSur (Aug. 3, 2018) – The Combined PNP personnel from Dinas MPS, Zamboanga del sur and Tangub City Police Station, Missamis Occidental conducted manhunt operation at Tangub City, Misamis Occidental at about 10:30 AM of August 2, 2018

The operation was resulted in the arrest of Ramonito Asoy y Rible aka Jun Jun, 40 years old, male, married and a resident of Barangay Sumpotan, Dinas, Zamboanga Del Sur.  

The accused was arrested by virtue of Warrant of Arrest for the crime of Murder dated July 31, 2001 issued by: Hon. Edilberto G. Absin, Presiding Judge. RTC 9, branch 29 San Miguel, Zamboanga Del Sur docketed under criminal case number 1400-D, with No bail recommended.

Notorious Criminal Arrested in Dinas

PAGADIAN CITY, Zamboanga del Sur (July 5, 2018) – The Combined operatives of Zamboanga Del Sur Provincial Mobile Force Company, Regional Special Operation Group, Regional Mobile Force Company and Dinas MPS arrested a notorious criminal during law enforcement operation (Service of Search Warrant), police official said.  

Police Regional Office-9 PRO-9 PIO Chief CINSP Helen L. Galvez said that the operation was successfully conducted at Purok Tula-Tula, Brgy Tarakan, Dinas, Zamboanga del Sur at about 11:30 PM of July 2, 2018,

Galvez identified the arrested wanted person as Esmael Jamarol Halid with standing warrants of arrest for Qualified Theft docketed under CC# 02-056 and Malicious Mischief docketed under CC # 1536-d. During arrest, said joint elements also recovered one unit of .45 caliber pistol (Colt) with serial number 795261, with six ammunitions and one magazine, Galvez said.  

Galvez also said that the accused was allegedly involved in some kidnapping incidents in the 1980’s.

Galvez added that accused is now at Dinas MPS lock up cell awaiting for proper disposition and filling of criminal complaint for violation of R.A. 10591.

RA 10591 Violator Arrested

DINAS, Zamboanga del Sur (July 1, 2018) – Armed person was arrested by the responding police operatives of Dinas MPS. Before his arrest, a report received that unidentified male person armed with short firearms got wild at the videoke house located at Purok 1A, Barangay Guinicolalay, Dinas of this province on June 30, 2018 at about 7:00pm.

Upon receipt of the report, PNP personnel of Dinas MPS immediately proceeded to the reported place of incident to verify the report and conduct investigation.

Upon arrival thereat, above-mentioned person was immediately frisk by the responding PNP personnel and conducted body searched that resulted to the confiscation of the following:

One caliber 45 pistol, bearing serial number 638157 with

One magazine loaded with three live ammunitions and

One unit caliber 38 revolver, bearing serial number 103460 with

Three live ammunitions from the possession and control of the suspect. 

Subject person later identified as Eugene Galleros Y Javier, 20 years old, single, farmer, and resident of Purok 2, Barangay Nian, Dinas, Zamboanga del Sur.

Subject person failed to present legal documents authorizing him to carry such firearms and same was immediately put into custody and brought to Dinas MPS for detention and filing of appropriate case in court.

Appropriate case for violation of RA 10591 is now being prepared for filing in court.

Old woman died after being hit by motorcycle

DINAS, Zamboanga del Sur (June 25, 2018) – Old woman was died after being hit by a motorcycle in a vehicular traffic accident transpired along the road of Brgy. Don Jose Dinas, Zamboanga Del Sur at about 4:30 PM of June 23, 2018.

The PNP personnel of Dinas MPS immediately responded and proceeded to aforesaid place of incident to verify the said report.

Police said Single Motor Rusi 100 with no plate, color black driven by certain Mark Geholos Siarez, 20 years of age, male, single, unemployed and a resident of Brgy. Lower Dimaya, Dinas was accidentally bump the old woman.

The victim identified by the responding police as Monera Salipphada 80 years of age female, married, unemployed and a resident of Brgy. Don Jose Purok Avocado, Dinas.

Initial investigation conducted disclosed that the Single Motor was coming from Poblacion, Dinas, bound to Brgy. Lower Dimaya, upon reaching Brgy. Don Jose road, driver noticed an old woman who hesitate walking to cross the road and because of too much speed the driver went out of control and hit the old woman which resulted to multiple fractured and serious physical injuries.

The victim immediately brought to Chavez Medical Clinic for possible treatment and after few minutes the families of the victim decided to transfer her to Pagadian City Provincial Hospital for better treatment and upon arrival the victim was declared dead by the attending physician.

Subject person is now temporally detained at Dinas MPS Detention Cell with the case of Reckless Imprudence resulted to Homicide is being prepared for filing in court.

Man Arrested for the Crime of Frustrated Homicide

DINAS, Zamboanga del Sur (June 18, 2018) - The PNP elements of Naga Municipal Police Station (MPS) and Intel personnel of Dinas MPS arrested the wanted person during the conduct of joint manhunt operation at Purok 3, Barangay Sulo, Naga, Zamboanga Sibugay on June 16, 2018 at about 9:30 AM.

The operating troops identified the arrest person as Jose Hangka Tagyubon, 49 years old, married and a resident of Ludiong, Dinas, Zamboanga Del Sur.

The arrest was made by virtue of Warrant of Arrest dated October 03, 2017 for the crime of Frustrated Homicide docketed under Criminal Case Number 17-163, issued by HON. Ruben N Bance, Presiding Judge, RTC, 9th Judicial Region, Branch 29, San Miguel, Zamboanga del Sur with recommended bail bond of Twenty Four Thousand (Php 24,000.00) Pesos.

Notorious Criminals Arrested

DINAS, Zamboanga del Sur (July 8, 2018) – The Combined PNP elements of Regional Special Operation Group-Regional Intelligence Division 9, 902nd Mobile Company of RMFB9 and Dinas MPS conducted police operation (Service of Warrant of Arrest) at Purok Matinahuron, Barangay Ignacio Garata, Dinas, of this province Thursday at about 9:05 in the evening.

The operation was resulted to the arrest of Ryan Pausanos Sereno, 35 years old, male, unemployed and a resident of said place.

The said arressted person has standing warrant of arrest for the crime of Robbery with violence docketed under criminal no. 05-053, issued by Hon. Edilberto G Absin, Presiding Judge, RTC, 9th Judicial Region, Branch 29, San Miguel, Zamboanga Del Sur on December 23, 2009 with no bail recommended.

The arrested suspect is believed to have been involved in a series of Robbery Incidents in the municipality of Dinas and has an alleged association with Anwar Ansang Group and certain Juvy Pitogo who is an identified gun-for-hire personality of the 1st District of Zamboanga Del Sur province.

Accomplishment on Loose Firearms in Dinas

On May 22, 2018 at about 4:00 PM, PNP personnel of Dinas MPS, Regional Special Operation Group-Task Force Tugis, 902nd Mobile Company of Regional Mobile Force Battalion 9, Zamboanga Del Sur Mobile Company and Provincial Investigation and Detection Management Branch of Zamboanga Del Sur conducted follow-up/tip-off operation at Barangay Ludiong, Dinas, Zambaonga Del Sur.

The operation is to recover the M16 Rifle owned by the arrested Top 1 Most Wanted Person MPS Level identified as Eddie Embodo Guerra last May 19, 2018 at Purok Gana-gana, Ludiong, Dinas, Zamboanga del Sur.

The operating teams successfully recovered one (1) M16 Rifle, Elisco, bearing Serial Number RP 218208; one (1) short magazine loaded with five (5) live ammunitions found at the small nipa hut use as copra drier (landahan) believed to be owned by the arrested suspect.

Recovered firearm and ammunitions is now under the custody of Dinas MPS for proper case disposition.

Dinas Top Most Wanted Arrested

DINAS, Zamb0anga del Sur (May 20, 2018) – The combined Police personnel of Dinas Municipal Police Station and Regional Special Operation Group of Police Regional Office 9 successfully arrested the Top Most Wanted person in Dinas municipality during the conduct of Law enforcement operation (Service of Arrest Warrant) Saturday 9:30am at Purok Gana-gana, Barangay Ludiong, Dinas of this province.

Police identified the arrested person as Eddie Embodo Guerra (Top Most Wanted Person–Municipal Level), 49 years old, married, farmer, and resident of Purok Gana-gana, Ludiong of this municipality.

The accused was arrested by virtue of two Warrant of Arrest, to wit:  Frustrated Murder issued by Hon. Felix B. The second warrant of arrest is Murder issued by Hon. Romeo T. Descallar, Presiding Judge, Branch 19, 9th Judicial Region, Pagadian City docketed under Criminal Case No. 14-030, dated 26 March 2018, with no bail bond recommended.

Subject person is now temporary detained at Dinas Municipal Detention Center awaiting court disposition.

    

RA 9165 Violator Arrested in Dinas

Joint PNP personnel of Dinas MPS and PNP personnel of Dimataling MPS conducted manhunt operation at Upper Sibul, Dinas, Zamboanga Del Sur at about 9:30 PM of May 18, 2018.

The operation resulted in the arrest of Roy Segovia Pabriga, 36 years old, married, farmer, resident of the above-mentioned place.

The arrest was by virtue of Warrant of arrest issued by Hon. Ruben N Bance Presiding Judge of Branch 29 Judicial Region San Miguel, Zamboanga del Sur for Violation Of Article 2, Section 11 of R.A. 9165 docketed under Criminal Case No. 16-149 with a bail bond fixed at Php 400,000 for his temporary liberty.

Arrested suspect is now temporary detained at Dinas MPS locked-up cell while waiting, for the court’s order for proper disposition.

Dinas Police arrested Murder Suspect

On May 17, 2018 at about 8:30 AM, Joint elements of Dinas MPS and Iligan City Police conducted police operation (Service of Warrant of Arrest) at Bagsakan 2, Mahayahay, Iligan City.

The operation resulted to the arrest of Brodie Vega Ordaniza, 27 years old, single, butcher, temporarily residing at Ma. Cristina, Balo-I, Lanao del Norte and with Provincial address at Barangay Kinakap, Dinas, Zamboanga del Sur.

Said person has a standing warrant of arrest issued by Hon. Edilberto G Absin, Presiding Judge of Branch 29 Judicial Region San Miguel, Zamboanga del Sur for the crime of Frustrated Murder docketed under Criminal Case No. 12-031 with a bail fixed at Two Hundred Thousand Pesos (P200, 000.00).

Arrested person is now under the custody of Dinas MPS while waiting for the proper disposition of his case.

Dinas Top 1 Most Wanted Falls

On May 3, 2018 at about 9:00 AM, Joint PNP personnel of Regional Special Operations Group Task Force Tugis and PNP personnel of Dinas MPS together with Phil. Army executed the service of Warrant of Arrest at Purok Talisay, Barangay Lower DImaya, Dinas, Zamboanga Del Sur.

The operation resulted to the successful arrest of Top 1 Most Wanted Person identified as Rogelio Ugmad Albios for the crime of Highway Robbery docketed under cc#15-077, issued by Hon. Felix Rodriguez Jr, Presiding Judge, RTC 9 Branch 29, San Miguel Zamboanga Del Sur dated October 29, 2015.

Accused is now temporary detained at Dinas MPS locked-up cell while waiting the court order of the issuing court for proper disposition.

Police arrested murder suspect

DINAS, Zamboanga del Sur (April 27, 2018) – A wanted person was arrested by the combined operating personnel of  Dinas MPS, Regional Special Operations Group – Task Force Tugis Regional Intelligence Division 9, 902nd Mobile Company, Regional Mobile Force Battalion 9 and Zamboanga Del Sur Mobile Force Company during the conduct of Law Enforcement Operation Thursday at about 3:00am.

Dinas MPS Chief of Police Senior Inspector Felixberto Rule Jr. disclosed that the operating team equipped with warrant of arrest against the suspect that leading to his arrest at Barangay Ludiong in this municipality.

SInsp. Rule identified the arrested suspect as Lemuel Busia Gapol, 42 years old, Farmer and a resident of the said place. The suspect committed the crime of Murder docketed under Criminal Case Number 17-065 with WA issued by Hon. Ruben N. Bance, Presiding Judge, RTC Branch 29, San Miguel dated July 17, 2017.

Suspect of stabbing arrested

DINAS, Zamboanga del Sur (April 24, 2018) - Hon. Lydya Albanya, Barangay Captain of Barangay Legarda Tres of this municipality appeared and turned-over to Dinas MPS on April 23, 2018 at 6:00pm a person identified as Altemyo E Bugay, 56 years old, male, farmer, a resident of Purok Dos, Barangay Legarda of this municipality.

The investigator on case is PO2 Frasad Moharibain said that the person was a suspect of stabbing incident transpired at Purok Macopa, Barangay Legarda, Dinas, Zamboanga Del Sur.

Initial investigation revealed that at around 4:30 PM of same date, the victim identified as Marcelino Ebalora Bugay, 46 years old, male, farmer, a resident of Purok Dos, Barangay Legarda, Dinas, Zamboanga Del Sur.

The victim was riding a horse heading towards his house and upon reaching at the place of incident, he saw his brother (suspect) Altemyo and had heated arguments and they were yelling at each other about their previous misunderstanding, which prompted the suspect to draw his bolo, and stabbed his brother on his left leg and fell into the ground.

The suspect was not contended but still, he chased the victim and stabbed him on his left breast. After the incident, suspect fled towards unknown direction.  Said victim was immediately brought to Chavez Medical Hospital for immediate medical treatment.

After a few minutes later, Altemyo surrendered himself to Hon. Albanya and he was then turned-over to Dinas MPS for proper disposition. (By Jong Cadion)

2 suspects of kidnapping died and 2 others were arrested during the law enforce operation in Dinas, Zambo. Sur

DINAS, Zamboanga del Sur (April 20, 2018) – The two members of notorious lawless group died on the spot while two others were arrested during the law enforcement operation this morning at Sitio Balaisan, Barangay East Migpulao in this municipality.

The Law enforcement conducted by the joint operating forces of Dinas Municipal Police Station, Regional Special Operation Group, 902^nd Mobile Force Battalion Company, 903^rd Maritime PNP and Regional Intelligence Division.

Dinas MPS Chief of Police Senior Inspector Felixberto Rule Jr identified the 2 dead wanted persons as, 35, and Suad Abang Esmael, 32, both residents of the said place. The two arrested suspects were identified as Hadad Giapal Nanding, 23 years old, married and Mahadam Yunos Giapal, 28 years old, both a resident of said place, police official said.

Senior Inspector Rule disclosed that the two suspects dead and the two arrested were members of Anwar Ansang Group involved in kidnapping of Laarni Bandi in Zamboanga Sibugay province. The police operatives equipped with warrant of arrest during the law enforcement operation but the suspects resisting arrest that resulted to the firefight that caused the death of two wanted persons.

Senior Inspector Rule said that Fermin is listed as top seven most wanted person provincial level for murder with multiple frustrated murder and four counts of attempted murder while Esmael is considered as top two most wanted person in municipal level for the case of murder, attempted murder, and has standing warrant of arrest. They were also involved in extortion and gun for hire in the area, He added. 

The operating troops recovered from the killed suspects Moamar Ansang Fermin one COLT M16 Rifle (with Serial Number 1489160), one long m16 magazine, four spent/empty 5.56 shells, five (5) 5.56 ammunitions and one (1) Nokia Cellular phone. Recovered from Suad Esmael were one (1) Carbine Rifle (bearing Serial Number 4330937), one long and two short magazines, fifty-one (51) ammunitions, and one Nokia cellular phone.

Recovered the two arrested suspects were one .45 caliber pistol Armscor (bearing Serial Number 357165), one short magazine, one ammunition and one holster.

The other two arrested suspects during the operation are now under the custody of Dinas MPS for proper disposition. (By Jong D. Cadion)
