DINAS, ZazmboSur (Aug. 9, 2018) –
The Combined PNP personnel of Provincial Intelligence Brach of Zamboanga Del
Sur PPO, Provincial Mobile Force Company, Dinas MPS, San Miguel MPS,
Margosatubig MPS and PDEA conducted manhunt operation at Barangay Tarakan,
Dinas, Zamboanga Del Sur at about 4:00 AM of August 7, 2018.
The successful operation was resulted in the arrest of Bashir
Alibasa y Manguda aka Kanuto Alibasa(High Value Target Level 2 and a drug
surrenderee last July 2016), 61 years old, a resident of above mentioned place.
The operating troops arrested the accused by the virtue of
Warrant of Arrest for Violation of Section 5, Article 2 of RA 9165 with
criminal case number 16-080, dated June 20, 2008 issued by Hon. Rubern N Bance,
Presiding Judge of RTC 9, Branch 29, San Miguel, Zamboanga Del Sur with no bail
recommended.
The operating team Confiscated during the operation are 14 pcs
of plastic sachet containing white crystalline substance believed to be shabu. During
the operation, the person of Maribel Berual y Udtohan aka Dadan live-in partner
of the subject person was also arrested during the operation by throwing some
evidences outside their house.
The arrested subject persons are now under the custody of PDEA
for proper disposition.
