Old woman died after being hit by motorcycle

DINAS, Zamboanga del Sur (June 25, 2018) – Old woman was died after being hit by a motorcycle in a vehicular traffic accident transpired along the road of Brgy. Don Jose Dinas, Zamboanga Del Sur at about 4:30 PM of June 23, 2018.

The PNP personnel of Dinas MPS immediately responded and proceeded to aforesaid place of incident to verify the said report.

Police said Single Motor Rusi 100 with no plate, color black driven by certain Mark Geholos Siarez, 20 years of age, male, single, unemployed and a resident of Brgy. Lower Dimaya, Dinas was accidentally bump the old woman.

The victim identified by the responding police as Monera Salipphada 80 years of age female, married, unemployed and a resident of Brgy. Don Jose Purok Avocado, Dinas.

Initial investigation conducted disclosed that the Single Motor was coming from Poblacion, Dinas, bound to Brgy. Lower Dimaya, upon reaching Brgy. Don Jose road, driver noticed an old woman who hesitate walking to cross the road and because of too much speed the driver went out of control and hit the old woman which resulted to multiple fractured and serious physical injuries.

The victim immediately brought to Chavez Medical Clinic for possible treatment and after few minutes the families of the victim decided to transfer her to Pagadian City Provincial Hospital for better treatment and upon arrival the victim was declared dead by the attending physician.

Subject person is now temporally detained at Dinas MPS Detention Cell with the case of Reckless Imprudence resulted to Homicide is being prepared for filing in court.

Man Arrested for the Crime of Frustrated Homicide

DINAS, Zamboanga del Sur (June 18, 2018) - The PNP elements of Naga Municipal Police Station (MPS) and Intel personnel of Dinas MPS arrested the wanted person during the conduct of joint manhunt operation at Purok 3, Barangay Sulo, Naga, Zamboanga Sibugay on June 16, 2018 at about 9:30 AM.

The operating troops identified the arrest person as Jose Hangka Tagyubon, 49 years old, married and a resident of Ludiong, Dinas, Zamboanga Del Sur.

The arrest was made by virtue of Warrant of Arrest dated October 03, 2017 for the crime of Frustrated Homicide docketed under Criminal Case Number 17-163, issued by HON. Ruben N Bance, Presiding Judge, RTC, 9th Judicial Region, Branch 29, San Miguel, Zamboanga del Sur with recommended bail bond of Twenty Four Thousand (Php 24,000.00) Pesos.

The arrested person was brought to Naga MPS for proper disposition. (By J. CADION)

Notorious Criminals Arrested

DINAS, Zamboanga del Sur (July 8, 2018) – The Combined PNP elements of Regional Special Operation Group-Regional Intelligence Division 9, 902nd Mobile Company of RMFB9 and Dinas MPS conducted police operation (Service of Warrant of Arrest) at Purok Matinahuron, Barangay Ignacio Garata, Dinas, of this province Thursday at about 9:05 in the evening.

The operation was resulted to the arrest of Ryan Pausanos Sereno, 35 years old, male, unemployed and a resident of said place.

The said arressted person has standing warrant of arrest for the crime of Robbery with violence docketed under criminal no. 05-053, issued by Hon. Edilberto G Absin, Presiding Judge, RTC, 9th Judicial Region, Branch 29, San Miguel, Zamboanga Del Sur on December 23, 2009 with no bail recommended.

The arrested suspect is believed to have been involved in a series of Robbery Incidents in the municipality of Dinas and has an alleged association with Anwar Ansang Group and certain Juvy Pitogo who is an identified gun-for-hire personality of the 1st District of Zamboanga Del Sur province.

Accused now temporary detained at Dinas MPS detention cell waiting for final adjudication from the court. (By JONG CADION)
