DINAS, Zamboanga del Sur (Sept. 8,
2018) – The PNP
elements of Regional Intelligence Division 9-Task Force Tugis, 902nd Maneuvering
Company of RMFB9 and Dinas MPS conducted a joint Manhunt Operation “Charlie” at
Purok Baltagi, Barangay Nian, Dinas, Zamboanga Del Sur at about 2:00 AM of
September 7, 2018.
The
operation was resulted to the successful arrest of the suspect identified as
Diamaludin Hasim Panandigan aka “Tiaw”, of legal age, unemployed and a resident
of the above-mentioned place.
The
operating team arrested the suspect by virtue of Warrant of Arrests docketed
under Criminal Case # 13-018, 13-017, 13-08 & 13-019 for the crime of
murder (four counts) and Criminal Case # 13-020 & 13-021 for the crime of
attempted murder issued by Hon Judge Edilberto G Absin, RTC9, Branch 29,
Pagadian City on April 13, 2013.
The
arrested suspect was identified member of Anwar Ansang Group, a criminal group
engage in Narcotics Trafficking, Robbery Extortion and Gun-for-Hire activities
and primarily responsible in a series of ambush and/or shooting incidents to
include 2nd Lt. Cartajena and several CAFGU personnel sometime in the year
2016.
The
arrested person is now temporary detained at Dinas MPS for documentation and
proper disposition.
