DINAS, Zamboanga Del Sur (April 13,
2018) – The joint government troops of Regional Special Operation Group, Dinas
Municipal Police Station and 902nd Mobile Company of Regional Mobile
Force Battalion Company-9 conducted Law Enforcement Operation the highway
robbery suspects Friday at 2:20am in Purok 5, Brgy. Lucoban in this
municipality.
Dinas MPS Chief of Police Senior
Inspector Felixberto B. Rule Jr. disclosed that the joint operation was
resulted to the successful arrest of the suspect identified as Atu Bidu (Apdal
Usman Bidu) for violation of PD 532 (robbery in band).
SInsp. Rule said the suspect arrest
by virtue of Warrant of Arrest issued by Hon. Ruben N. Bance, Presiding Judge,
Rtc Branch 29 of San Miguel of this province, dated July 17, 2017.
The arrested person (Atu Bido) is
responsible in the deadly Baganian Bus Transit robbery incident sometime last
October of 2016 that resulted to the death of the bus driver identified as Diosdado
Retiza, Dinas Police Chief added.
SInsp. Rule also said that the arrested
person is now voluntarily admitting complicity and/or involvement in the deadly
heist/robbery and is naming other suspects in the questioned incident.
Subject arrested person is now
undergoing tactical interrogation and booking procedure at Dinas MPS for proper
